Sealant performance of tinplate easy-open lid

The performance of easy open end sealant should control the dry film amount of the sealant, the oil resistance and water resistance of the sealant.
The correct coating position distribution of the adhesive film in the easy-opening hook side is: about 70% in the hook side and about 30% in the plane. In addition, the amount of film must meet its own process requirements. Excessive amount of glue can easily cause squeeze, especially when the material for metal cans is getting thinner and harder, the amount of dry film of easy-opening sealant should be appropriately reduced. At the same time, it should be noted that the amount of sealant film that achieves the sealing effect is determined by the volume of the film. Therefore, it is necessary to know the density of the sealant on the easy-open lid, and then determine the dry film amount of the easy-open sealant of each variety.
At present, the main domestic water-based sealants used for easy-opening caps have water resistance and oil resistance that can meet the sealing requirements of conventional contents. If the contents are high in oil, you should generally choose a sealant with better oil resistance.
